Condolence: Shocking, Heartbreaking – Ex Oyo Commissioner, Arisekola Mourns Alao-Akala.

Son of late Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Delta and Edo States, Aare Abdulazeez Arisekola-Alao, Hon Farouk Umar Arisekola-Alao has expressed shock over the demise of former Governor of Oyo State, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala.

“This is one death, of our fathers, too many. While we were still coming to terms with the passage of our royal fathers; Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba (Dr) Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi JP CON CFR Ajagungbade III. Asigangan of Igangan, Oba Abdul-Azeez Adewuyi, Aribiyan II, and most recently, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, Ogunguniso-I, and this shocking one occurred”, Arisekola lamented.

“Otunba Akala was a man of peace who sought for the growth and development of Oyo State in general and Ogbomosho in particular. He was very well grounded in his home State. Otunba Akala was more than a leader to me, he was a father who constantly encouraged, and supported my dreams and aspirations with his wealth of experience and words of wisdom. I will definitely miss his fatherly love.

“His death is not just a colossal loss to the Oyo State and Ogbomoso but also the progressive fold. As a leader of our great party, the APC, we will miss his valuable counsel.

“I pray God grants his soul a peaceful rest and strengthen his family at this trying times. It is my prayer that the tide of death be stalled in our beloved State.”He concluded.
