Chief(Dr) Florence Ajimobi, wife of late former Governor Abiola Ajimobi, is in Ogbomoso to pay condolences to the families of late Oba Jimoh Oyewumi, Soun of Ogbomoso and late former governor Adebayo Alao-Akala,OYOINSIGHT.COM reported.
Ajimobi arrived at the Opadoyin, Randa, Ogbomoso home of the Otunba Alao-Akala around 10:40am.
The duo, both important personalities in the town band beyond, had died one month apart. While Oba Oyewumi died December 12, 2021, Alao-Akala died January 12, 2022.
On the team of the former first lady are former secretary to the state government, Alhaji Olalekan Alli, former Head of Service, Mrs Hannah Olawumi Ogunesan; board member at the Federal Character Commission; Prof Adeniyi Olowofela, a former House of Representatives Member, Folake Olunloyo-Oshinowo; a member of the Oyo Assembly, Seyi Adisa, son of late Governor Ajimobi, Idris Ajimobi and acting deputy national youth leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Afeez Bolaji Repete, former Council Boss, Olumide Alli and others.
