Coronation: Adeolu Akande Lauds Oba Lamidi Adeyemi As He Marks 51st Anniversary on Throne.
Prof Adeolu Akande, Chairman Nigeria Communications Commission felicitates with His Royal Majesty, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alaafin of Oyo as he clocks 51 years on the throne of his Ancestors.
In his goodwill message, he applauded the Royal wisdom with which his majesty has impacted positively on his subjects and the various administrations in the state- engendering peaceful and harmonious relationships amongst all stakeholders of traditional institutions, the people and the successive governments.
According to the statement released in Ibadan today, the cumulative result of this disposition is the unprecedented infrastructural and economic development this has brought to the eitherto ancient city of Oyo and its environs.
He prayed for many more healthy, continuously peaceful and achievement-filled years ahead for the Kabiyesi.
