Coronation Anniversary: Oba Adeyemi Has Brought More Dignity, Prestige To The Throne – Adelabu Showers Encomia on Alaafin.
Chief Adebayo Adelabu, the former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Oyo state has joined other eminent Nigerians to laud His Imperial Majesty, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, the Alaafin of Oyo on his 51st Coronation Anniversary.
Chief Adelabu in his congratulatory message made available to journalists by one of his media Aides, Comrade Femi Awogboro described Alaafin’s 51 years on the throne as impactful, remarkable and truly imperial.
“I was a toddler when Oba Adeyemi ascended the throne of his forefathers. Today, Oyo town and the State have recorded tremendous achievements during the era of Oba Adeyemi.
“Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi has brought more dignity, pride and prestige to the throne of his forefathers through his charistmatic leadership and native intelligence” Adelabu said.
He also thanked the monarch for his constant fatherly advice which he has been giving to him for many years.
The Agbaakin Parakoyi of Ibadan land, Chief Adebayo Adelabu wished the Monarch many more fruitful years on the throne of his forebears.
