CORONATION: Hon Oladiran Alabi Congratulates Oba Rashidi Ladoja As 44th Olubadan
Honourable Oladiran Alabi, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Oba Rashidi Ladoja on his coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan Land.
In a statement released to journalists early today in Ibadan, Alabi expressed his warm wishes to the Olubadan-in-Council, the entire Ibadan empire, and the people of Oyo State.
Alabi emphasised that Oba Ladoja’s reign promises to be extraordinary, drawing on his extensive experience as a successful businessman, former governor of Oyo State, and charismatic leader.
“Kabiesi! My esteemed father and monarch, your versatility and wealth of experience position you to elevate Ibadanland to new heights. May your reign be a blessing to us, your subjects—both indigenes and residents of Ibadan. I pray Your Imperial Majesty’s obaship be marked by peace, unity, prosperity, and progress.”
Alabi further highlighted that, “Our new monarch is a father figure to us all. His leadership and wisdom have garnered respect and admiration both at home and abroad. By His Grace, under his stewardship, Ibadanland will witness unprecedented growth and development, solidifying its status as a vibrant metropolis.
The coronation, scheduled for Friday, will be held at Mapo Hall, Ibadan, with a grand reception at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium.
Expected to be in attendance at the event are dignitaries, including His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Oyo State governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde; top government functionaries; traditional rulers; and other notable figures from across Nigeria, Africa and beyond.
