Coronation: Prof Akande Congratulates Shina Peller on Installation As Ayedero of Yorubaland.
The Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande has congratulated Hon. Shina Peller on his installation today as the Ayedero of Yorubaland by His Imperial Majessty, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi-III, the Alaafin of Oyo Empire.
Professor Akande noted that the recognition by the higly revered Kabiyesi is a testimony to the contributions of Hon. Peller to Yorubaland and Nigeria at large.
“There can be no greater testimony of your contributions to the society than the recognition of your efforts by our highly revered Alaafin of Oyo.
“This installation is also a call on you to work further for the society in the different spheres of life that you find yourself. Please, continue to be a role model to the youths and a dutiful representative, not only to the people of Iseyin/Kajola/Iwajowa/Itesiwaju Federal Constituency but to Nigerians in general”,he charged.
“I implore you to renew your commitment to our people and surely make life easier for them, as indicated by the new title Kabiyesi is conferring on you today.
“My prayer is that God shall continue to bless you with all that you need to live to the expectation of your new office”.
Professor Akande also showered encomiums on the Alaafin of Oyo for identifying and blessing Hon. Peller with the highly esteemed title.
“We thank our revered Kabiyebi for extending this honur to a role model of the Nigerian youths. This is a clear evidence that Kabiyesi recognized the role of youths in our society.
“This is an invitation to the Nigerian youths to excel in their chosen fields and contribute to the wellbeing and development of their society. With this recognition, it has become clear that no good work by any of our youths or anyone for that matter, will go unnoticed by our royal fathers and established authorities”, the statement enthused.
