Coronavirus : Yoruba Youths Commend Aregbesola for Philanthropic Gestures
The Supreme Forum of Yoruba Youths(SFYY) has commended the former Governor of the State of Osun and current Minister of Interior of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola for his philanthropic gestures and food items donated to the people of the State of Osun .
The forum in a news release signed by its acting president, Comrade Femi Awogboro noted that the spread of corona virus across the federation has crippled the economy, hence the need for the distribution of palliatives to cushion the effects of the disease on the lives and livelihoods of the people.
“What the Minister of Interior has done since his assumption of office was an indication that Aregbesola stands for his people”, Awogboro stated.
Awogboro also lauded the former Governor for considering the youth forum during the donation of the palliatives .
“This is strong indication that the pivotal role of the youths are recognised and the need to cater for the welfare of the vulnerables in the society, future generations”, he stated.
Awogboro urged the minister to use his capacity to facilitate more developmental amenities to the South-Western states, also for youths to benefit more and he prayed for the minister that may God continue to guard and guide him .
