Former Commissioner for Finance in Oyo State, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, has distributed over 200 bags of rice and other relief materials to the whole of the 33 local Governments and 35 LCDA’s in Oyo State.
Adekanmbi while speaking to the press in Ibadan expressed his concerns over the survival of the people in this trying time and promised to always be available to contribute to their reliefs in his own humble ways ;“This is the moment when our people needed us most and we can’t afford to fail them because they deserve the best”, Adekambi stated.
“I have seen a lot of people call out politicians, business moguls, and philanthropists to support this cause. They are right because irrespective of whom we are, giving back to the society is the best form of humanism”, Bimbo reiterated.
“This is our own little way to ensure that our people get relieved during the stay at home period and I pray that Oyo State, Nigeria, and the world at large come out of this pandemic stronger”, Bimbo Adekambi reaffirmed his zeal to always be on the side of good people of Oyo State and Masses in general.
