COVID-19 : Blue Baby Initiatives Hits Streets Again, Donates Relief Materials
As part of their struggles against COVID-19 pandemic, Blue Baby Initiatives(BBSi) has stricken the street of Ibadan again with relief materials as a step to complement their earlier efforts of distribution of sanitizers, face masks and other related kits . In the past, the NGO has been part of various humanitarian assistance to citizenry ranging from surgical operations, helping children , assisting adults , empowering widows and welfarising the less privileged .
After several coordinated activities and robust campaigns , BBSi was in town to give palliatives to people in their own little way as a move to support government efforts and relieve people of the tension created by the lockdown.
The journey started with donations of relief materials to the 32 fm radio station at Cocoa house, Ibadan where the food items were given to the management of the radio station for onward transfer to the public through some of their designated programs like Ijaodola, What’s up naija and Sport programmes .
Management of 32fm radio station commended BBSi for their pro-people activities and for singling out the station out of over 40 fm radio stations in Ibadan.
BBSi also reached to old people and some vulnerable members of the society . “The next edition of this palliative is going to be in Oyo town” , Olantewaju De Gold, the leader of the team said .
