COVID-19: Sunday Dare Supports Oyo People, Distributes Relief Packages

Former Executive Commissioner, Stakeholder Management, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and current
Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Sunday Dare has recently begun the distribution of relief packages to citizens and residents of Oyo state through the Local Government Areas(LGA’s) in Ibadan Land and other parts of the state.

The relief materials were distributed under the Support Oyo Campaign, SOC initiative developed by the Minister as a step to create a viable platform for the distribution of relief items to the people of the state.

Recently, about 5000 relief packages comprised of semovita, indomie noddles, and vitamin C drink packs were distributed to residents of various parts of the state without political discrimination. And the process will continue throughout this period.

Meanwhile, the similar distribution had taken place in various parts of Ogbomoso, Ibadan, and Awe where sanitizers, noodles, semovita, and salt were distributed to people.

The Support Oyo Campaign by the Minister of Youth and Sports Development is part of efforts by private individuals and different organizations to support the government in the provision of stimulus packages to people as a move to alleviate their situation during this partial lockdown of the state.
