Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande has condoled with the entire people of Igbeti over the passage of the Onigbeti of Igbetiland, Oba Emmanuel Oyekan Oyebisi, Afasegbejo-III.
Prof. Akande in a condolence message, issued in Ibadan, expressed sadness over the unfortunate demise of the monarch.
He described the monarch as “a very accommodating royal father whose reign witnessed unprecedented peace and development in Igbetiland”.
“It’s my fervent prayer that God Almighty will grant our revered monarch eternal rest and also grant the people of Igbeti the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss”,the statement added.
