Dele Bajaj Foundation: An Inspiring Institution in Ibarapaland | By Fathia Oyinkansola Salau.

Hon Bamidele Muhedeen Usman(Dele Bajaj).

The Dele Bajaj Foundation, led by Hon Bamidele Muhedeen Usman, is an exemplary philanthropic organization that has brought tremendous blessings to the people of Ibarapa. Founded by my uncle, an esteemed son of Chief Usmam Mayeloye of Ayete and Alhaja Modupeola Iya Bajaj of Igboora, the foundation operates independently of political, religious, and ethnic affiliations, making it a beacon of impartiality and inclusivity.

In 2021, the Foundation demonstrated its commitment to empowering local farmers by providing them with essential resources. Not only were farmers given seeds for planting, but the Foundation also facilitated their ploughing efforts. As a beneficiary of the Dele Bajaj Foundation’s free UTME distribution program, I am immensely grateful for the opportunity it afforded me. Under the supervision of the competent coordinator, Mr. Wasiu Oke, popularly known as Parttern, I received the Dele Bajaj Foundation Jamb form, which made me eligible to sit for the UTME examination. Subsequently, I gained admission to The Polytechnic Ibadan, where I am currently pursuing my studies in Mass Communication. Additionally, I have been privileged to be among the students benefiting from the Foundation’s scholarship program, which has had a transformative impact on my educational journey.
Every year, on January 2nd, the Dele Bajaj Foundation organizes a significant empowerment event, touching the lives of thousands of individuals in Ibarapaland. During this event, the Foundation distributes a diverse range of items, including freezers, dryers, grinding machines, sewing machines, motorcycles, gas cylinders, cash donations, generators, and more, to those in need. This remarkable display of generosity and support reflects the Foundation’s dedication to identifying and addressing the specific needs of individuals and communities. Hon Bamidele Muhedeen Usman Olohunwa, the CEO of the Foundation, embodies admirable qualities such as good character, humility, and an attentive ear to the challenges faced by his people. Rarely does one witness any signs of anger in him, as he consistently responds to calls and requests with utmost compassion and dedication. Undoubtedly, he serves as an exceptional role model and a source of inspiration, deeply loved and respected by his constituents. May Almighty Allah continue to bless him with good health and abundant prosperity, as it is widely acknowledged that givers never lack goodness in their lives.

At every opportunity, Hon Dele Olohunwa emphasizes that the primary objective of the Foundation is to uplift the lives of his people and bring smiles to the faces of his father and mother’s kinsmen. He adamantly stresses that the Foundation should not be exploited as a platform for political campaigns or personal ambitions to seek political office—at least not at this time. It is indeed commendable to witness such a genuine commitment to the betterment of the community. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to my uncle for his outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication to the cause.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team of the Dele Bajaj Foundation, including the imitator, for their exceptional work and tireless efforts in making a positive difference in the lives of countless individuals. May the Foundation continue to grow from strength to strength, expanding its impact and reach.
Furthermore, I take immense pride in being associated with Hon Bamidele Muhedeen Usman, his family, and the Dele Bajaj Foundation. The CEO’s unwavering commitment to the betterment of society fills me with admiration, and I am privileged to align myself with him and his noble endeavors. The Dele Bajaj Foundation is undoubtedly the epitome of a philanthropic organization, making an indelible mark as the best foundation of its kind in Ibarapa land.
Finally, I express my heartfelt desire to be engaged through the Foundation with a reputable company or organization for my upcoming industrial training, scheduled to commence in August this year. Such an opportunity would be an immense honor, allowing me to further develop my skills and contribute to the betterment of society.

In conclusion, I extend my sincerest gratitude to the Dele Bajaj Foundation for its remarkable contributions and blessings bestowed upon the people of Ibarapa. The Foundation’s unwavering commitment to philanthropy and its dedication to uplifting lives serve as a shining example for others to emulate. May the Foundation continue to flourish and bring hope and prosperity to many more individuals in the years to come.

Thank you.
