Demise: ‘Funmi Ogunmola Mourns Wasiu Owolabi.
Former Chairman of Atisbo Local Government Area of Oyo-State, Honourable Jacob ‘Funmi Ogunmola has mourned his successor in title, Akogun Wasiu Owolabi who passed on to the glory early today. Ogunmola described Akogun’s demise as sad and shocking.
Hon. Ogunmola in a condolence message personally signed by him and made available to newsmen in Ago-Are said the news of the death of Former Atisbo local government gaffer came to him as a rude shock.
According to him the death of Hon. Wasiu has no doubt created a big vacuum that will be difficult to fill and that he will equally be greatly missed by his immediate family, friends, associates and progressive young folks.
“On behalf of myself and my family, I condole with the family of my brother, Wasiu Owolabi and the entire members of the All progressives Congress(APC) in Atisbo local government. The death is shocking and unbelievable,”he mourned.
