DISCLAIMER: On The Oyo APC State Congress – Hon. Prince Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí (Jagaban), Member CECPC
“DISCLAIMER: On The Oyo APC State Congress – Hon. Prince Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí (Jagaban), Member CECPC.
It has come to the attention of my Principal, Hon. Prince Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí (Jagaban), a very recent release credited to him and titled, ‘Oyo APC Congresses Results Are Authentic, State Congress Holds on Saturday – National Secretariat Replies Oke‘
The contents of this said release are not from Hon. Prince Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí (Jagaban), and does not in anyway reflect his stand on the state congress slated for later today, considering the several messages of unity and general peace he has consistently preached to all party stakeholders over time.
At this point, party leaders, stalwarts and members must be wary of inciting comments that could further cause disaffection within our ranks, while mischief makers should caution themselves from media adventures that can polarize the APC in Oyo State.
The Oyo State APC is one big family, which accommodates the interests of her varying members, and will never at any point undermine the wishes of her teeming party faithfuls. This has been one of the focal points of the National Caretaker and Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee of the APC on which Hon. Prince Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí (Jagaban) currently serves.
As such, overzealous party stalwarts should refrain from using the name or image of Hon. Prince Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí (Jagaban) to transmit messages which has the capacity to cause hate, division and bring retrogression to the Oyo State APC.
“The reason why the Oyo APC State Congress is scheduled to hold today is due to the fact that the APC has conducted state congresses in all other states of the Federation except Oyo State, and we need to conclude on this as soon as possible to enable the National Caretaker Committee move on to the next assignment”, Hon. Prince Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí (Jagaban) stated.
“In all, I’m assuring party faithfuls that this state congress won’t be the end of everything, as all grievances and complaints will be duly attended to, and all interests duly accommodated. This won’t be a winner takes all event as we are building a party for all members and not a select few”, Hon. Prince Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí (Jagaban) added.
Hon. Prince Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí (Jagaban) says that everyone will be given a fair hearing, and all lingering issues will be resolved as the APC marches on to reclaim power in Oyo State in 2023, which remains our party’s most important agenda.
“As I always say, my doors remain open to everyone, and those who have engaged me on Oyo APC matters can attest to how accommodating I am to them. If I as a National Caretaker Committee Member can accommodate party faithfuls from across the country, how much more party members from my own state”, Hon. Prince Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí (Jagaban) stated.
Conclusively, Hon. Prince Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí (Jagaban) encourages all party faithful to embrace peace, love, fairness and to forge a bond of unity that will accelerate the Oyo State APC’s quest to return to the Agodi seat of power in the next general elections.
Signed:
Mr Micheal Adegbuyi, Media Assistant to Hon. Prince Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí (Jagaban).”
