The Chairman, Board of Trustees(BoT) of the “Tinubu Legacy Forum(TLF)”, Alhaji Ganiyu Akeem has cautioned some northern politicians and other divisive elements who are trying to foist crack between National Leader of the All Progressive Congress(APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his beloved Godson, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
“Please, don’t foist crack between National Leader of our this great Party, All Progressive Congress(APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his beloved Godson, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. Asiwaju Tinubu is Professor Osinbajo’s Mentor and Benefactor. So, they’re partners in progress and beloved brother. Thus, stop driving wedge in between them”,Akeem cautioned.
“This is how some agents of destabilization came in between the late Sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Chief Ladoke Akintola, during the NCNC saga, for their own selfish interests and ulterior motives”,he lamented.
“Prof Yemi Osinbajo is a man of integrity. He’s a man of God and pious politician that will never betray his benefactor. Professor Osinbajo will never forget the leadership roles that Asiwaju Tinubu played on his appointment as Lagos State Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General.
“Also, we are convinced and confident in Professor Osinbajo that he will never turn himself to arch rival of Asiwaju Tinubu. If he doesn’t remember anything, he can never forget magnanimous disposition and political inputs of Asiwaju Tinubu to anoint and endorse him as the running mate to President Muhammad Buhari, in 2015 and 2019 respectively. The office that His Excellency is still holding, as second termer, till now.
TLF BoT Chair, Akeem appealed to the First Class Monarchs in Yoruba Land- Alaafin of Oyo, Ooni of Ife, Olubadan of Ibadan, Alake of Egbe, Deji of Akure, Ewi of Ado and among several others, to wade in and prevent the looming crises of having a polarized Yoruba land ahead of 2023 general election.

As a democratic icon himself, he adores politics without bitterness and he detests divisiveness. Of course, we wish our mentor and legendary figure of all times, BAT, sound health, long life and prosperous existence, always.
