On this auspicious occasion of Maolud Nabiyy, Dr. Moshood Abioye, a renowned international scholar and philanthropist from Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State, has extended warm greetings to Muslims in the state and around the world.
Dr. Abioye expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting him the privilege to witness this day, which commemorates the birth of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He emphasized that the Prophet’s birth brought faith and a profound belief in the oneness of God, along with the spread of the message about the essence of human creation.
Speaking from his residence in Ibadan, Dr. Abioye highlighted the importance of celebrating Maolud Nabiyy, recognizing that the Prophet’s legacy includes the five daily prayers, fasting during the holy month of Ramadan, giving Zakat to the poor, and performing the Hajj pilgrimage – all obligations for every Muslim to fulfill in this life and the hereafter.
Dr. Abioye, a notable philanthropist, described Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as an exemplar of good character, worthy of emulation as the best of mankind according to The Creator. He encouraged Muslims to follow the Prophet’s virtuous deeds and use this occasion to pray earnestly for a better world.
