Choice of Dr Isiaka Kolawole as Oyo State APC Campaign DG, others, our Masterstroke strategy by the APC/Teslim Folarin Group….. Oyo APC.

The announcement of Dr Isiaka Kolawole as the Director General alongside other members of the Committee for Oyo State APC 2023 General Elections on the BAT/TKF Presidential and Governorship and other elections has been widely considered as a Masterstroke strategy by the APC/Teslim Folarin Group.

Dr. Isiaka Kolawole a seasoned technocrat and grassroots politician leading the pack of several notable political gladiators in Oyo State within the APC has been adjudged to be the best option and strategy by APC Oyo State for the task of coordination of the 2023 general elections in Oyo State.

Having served in several notable capacities since his early post secondary school days when he joined politics as a critical stakeholder, he is widely considered to have a deep appreciation of the political landscape of Oyo State and Nigeria in general.

Deploying his rich wealth of experience, intellectual sagacity, brilliant appreciation of critical values and issues within the contextual framework of the assignment of the leadership alongside with the other members of the expanded Committee towards the coordination of the electioneering campaign project will undoubtedly strongly position APC in the forthcoming general elections in Oyo State.

An indigene of Ibadanland, recently confered with the prestigious Title of Mogaji of his family stead of Ogbaaga Compound, Bode in Ibadan, he is currently a Federal Commissioner and Deputy Executive Secretary (Services), Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC).representing Oyo State at the Agency.

During his acceptance speech at inauguration ceremony of the Campaign Committee held recently in Ibadan, he copiously captured the contextual framework and proper Positioning of the assignment and any close observer of his comments would undoubtedly agree with the choice of Dr Isiaka Kolawole as the best man for the job.

While not delving into details of the tactical strategy and approach to be deployed, he assured Party members and the entire citizenry that it will be a clear departure from the usual uncharitable, uninspiring, pedestrian styles of politicking experienced in Oyo State political landscape of the past, rather his leadership in that capacity will be programmed to engage on intellectual discourse with strategic positioning of issues in the interest of political revolution of Oyo State.

He condemned in absolute terms the brigandage, violence inclined outlook and negative positioning of the present administration on governance in all ramifications in Oyo State under the PDP which has wasted the gains of departure from such tendencies as established and promoted by the previous administration of Late Senator Abiola Ajimobi under which he served for eight years as a “Super’ Special Adviser.

Feelers from the camp of ruling Party PDP since the announcement of Dr Isiaka Kolawole as the Director General of the Campaign Committee of APC have shown serious apprehension and concern by the notable tacticians and members of the PDP.

More intimidating to the PDP and other various Parties in contention in Oyo State during the forthcoming general elections is the composition of the BAT/ TKF Campaign Committee of APC in Oyo State parading an unprecedented membership and an array of political gladiators, undoubtedly strong based politicians spread across the entire State in excess of three thousand in all.

Dr. Isiaka Kolawole in his final conclusions during the acceptance speech engaged the entire members of APC Oyo State as co members of the Campaign Committee as critical stakeholders on the project.

No doubt, the applause that greeted the announcement and acceptance of Dr Isiaka Kolawole and his Team after the inauguration ceremony witnessed by Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, the Gubernatorial candidate of Oyo State, other various candidates ranging from the Senatorial, House of Representatives and State Assemblies as well as other various leaders and stakeholders at the event was overwhelming.

Senator Teslim Folarin who was quite enthusiastic during the inauguration ceremony shared the same feeling of satisfaction and appreciation earlier expressed by Chief Isaac Omodewu the Chairman of Oyo State APC on the decision to appoint Dr Isiaka Kolawole and other members of the Campaign Committee. They are confident in the capacity of the Isiaka Kolawole led committee to successfully drive and pursue the aspirations of APC towards achieving total victory in the forthcoming general elections with assurances that Oyo State APC will secure wins in the various elective positions and form the next government both at the Federal and State levels in 2023.
