Dream (Part Two)
Written by Iyanuloluwa Ololade.
… .One good thing about dream is that it cannot be thwarted except one allows it through letting down one’s guard to the external forces or giving up due to delay or disappointment. Therefore, giving in and giving up are the only things that can thwart a dream.
Failure, no matter how bad it may come or remain consistent, cannot thwart a dream if the dreamer does not permit it. Once a dream is not shared with an enemy and one does not relent in making plans towards its actualization irrespective of seemingly opposing challenges, it cannot be thwarted.
Sometimes dreams can be forgotten, so it is better to write them down and guard them well so that they will not get into wrong hands.
We should take time to find out opportunities that will enhance our dreams by working hard; developing our lives and abilities, interests; seeking out constricted help with all cautiousness; sourcing for information or help where necessary; utilizing all available resources and praying.
Dreams can also be stolen, if not guarded well. A written or shared dream can be manipulated by the hearer or reader of such dreams, who has a bad mind or motive to make such dreams theirs.
One who has the resources to execute your dream can repackage it and make it his or hers. So, watchfulness is required on your part to safeguard your dreams.
Dreams here can also be referred to as goals (short or long term) or visions.
Whatever one can dream of, imagine or conceive, one can achieve and whatsoever one can achieve, one can be a master of.
Time and change are the only factors that can have an access into one’s dreams. The duration between the conception of the dream and its actualization is the ‘TIME’ ‘FRAME’ while the ‘CHANGE’ is the dreamer’s personal attitude to such dreams and the surrounding challenges.
The time-frame is non-negotiable and may not be ascertained by man but only by the supreme God. Keep dreaming and believe in yourself.
