A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) and House of Assembly Aspirant from from Ibadan North-West Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. Adebayo Adams has felicitated with the Christians on the occasion of this year Easter celebration. Adams urged Christian believers to use the season as a period to reflect on their individual and collective roles towards promoting and sustaining the foundation of love, peace, unity, oneness and harmony in Oyo state and nation at large.

Easter is a special annual festival for the followers of Christianity, symbolising hope, renewal and growth. It is the celebration of the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ from the tomb on the third day after his crucifixion.

Unlike Christmas, the festival of Easter is not celebrated on the same day every year, it is called a moveable feast. This day falls on the first Sunday following the first full moon on or after March 21st and as late as April 11. This year, the day falls on April 4th.
