Easter Celebration: I Felicitate With Our Christian Brethren – Sulayman Abese

Easter also called Pascha (Greek, Latin) or Resurrection Sunday is a festival and holiday commemorating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day after his burial following his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary (c. 30 AD). It is the culmination of the Passion of Jesus, preceded by Lent (or Great Lent), a 40-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance .

The pioneer Secretary of Nigerian Bar Association(NBA) of Gwagwalada between 2012-2014 and former Chairman of the association between 2016-2018, Daud Abese Sulayman Esq has felicitated with all Christian brothers and sisters throughout the world on the celebration of Easter.

DA Sulayman (JP) also prayed that may the resurrection of our Jesus Christ resurrect our dead economy and national unity and birth a new season of peace, favour, blessings and abundant grace for our nation and deliver the world of this corona virus pandemic.

Abese who was also the NEC Rep of NBA Gwagwalada branch between 2018-2020 also encouraged all and sundry to always obey the directives of governments at all strata and health authorities of all cadres to maintain strict personal hygiene, keep social distancing , stay home and stay safe.
