Easter: Embrace Love, Build A Better Nigeria—Oyo APC Chieftain, Dr David Okanlawon Urges, Greets Christians
Dr. David Okanlawon, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has extended warm greetings to Christians in Ibarapa Land, Oyo State, and across the nation.
Emphasising the significance of the season, the notable philanthropist, Dr. Okanlawon, urged Christians, and Nigerians in general, to reflect on the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ and integrate them into their daily lives.
In his heartfelt message marking the Easter celebration, the engineering luminary wrote,”Calvary greetings! Let me use this opportunity to congratulate my fellow Christian brethren on the occasion of this Easter celebration. This is a period of spiritual renewal, especially after the Lenten festive period. I want to urge my Christian brothers and sisters to emulate the life of our Lord Jesus Christ, which epitomised love, compassion, and sacrifice.
Highlighting the importance of unity and love for the nation, the business tycoon underscored the need for Nigerians to embrace one another regardless of religious, tribal, or any other differences. He stressed that fostering love and unity would pave the way for peace, progress, and prosperity in the country.
“As Nigerians, we need to love one another regardless of our religious, tribal, or any other form of inclination. When there is love, there will be peace, progress, and prosperity, and at this crucial time in our national life, we need to love our dear country. Love for our country would see us eschew actions that can put her down and deter her progress,” Dr. Okanlawon remarked.
Dr. Okanlawon also emphasised the importance of collective efforts in building a better nation. He urged citizens to actively contribute to the development and advancement of the country, stating, “As we pray for a better country and hope for it, we must put in the selfless service that creates a better country.
