The former Chairman of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria,(ALGON), in Oyo state, Hon. Yekeen Popoola has greeted Christians on the occasion of this year Easter celebration. In his words, “The holy spirit has taught us that if people of different faith, tribes and languages come together in unity and pray to God with sincere supplication, especially, during the time of agony and disappointment, the heavenly Father always listen to people’s yearning and grant their requests.

He continued that, ”development, peace of mind and success can only be guaranteed in peaceful co-existence of all in the state. In fact government business too only strives within a conducive environment, so, I appeal to everyone in Oyo state to let us live in peace and harmony.”
