Easter: Oyetola’s Aides Felicitate With Christians, Urge Believers to Seek Peace, Promote Unity

The Forum of Senior Special Assistants(SSA’s) to Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun has felicitated with Christians on the occasion of this year Easter celebration. The Forum urged Christian believers to use the season as a period to reflect on their individual and collective roles towards promoting and sustaining the foundation of love, peace and harmony in the nation.

This is contained in a press release issued by the Forum and made available to the newsmen today in Oshogbo by one of the SSA’s, Honourable Charles Adeyemi.

“Have a blessed and meaningful Easter! Wishing you the kind of Easter that touches your hearts like a prayer and blesses your lives with the gift of amazing grace. Best wishes for a joyous Easter!”, They prayed.

Easter is a special annual festival for the followers of Christianity, symbolising hope, renewal and growth. It is the celebration of the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ from the tomb on the third day after his crucifixion.

Unlike Christmas, the festival of Easter is not celebrated on the same day every year, it is called a moveable feast. This day falls on the first Sunday following the first full moon on or after March 21st and as late as April 11. This year, the day falls on April 4th.
