Easter: Oyo Guber Hopeful, Dr Adeduntan Greets Christians, Urges “More” Prayer for Pacesetter State, Nigeria.
2023 Governorship Hopeful in Oyo State, Chief (Dr.) Azeez Popoola Adeduntan has greeted Christian faithful on the occasion of this year Easter celebration and he urged residents of the state to make peace with one another for the progress and development of the state beyond 2023.
Dr. Adeduntan, the Osi Bashorun of Ibadanland, in Easter message, personally signed by him assured the people of Oyo State of better days ahead.
He said,”Easter season should serve as a reminder of the selflessness, love, sacrifice and tolerance of Jesus Christ throughout His earthly sojourn.
Adeduntan restated his commitment towards making life more comfortable for the people of Oyo state, if elected as the Governor of the state.
The founder DAPAF, called for prayers, sacrifice and support as election draws nearer stressing that since Easter is a period of sober reflection, citizens should be more prayerful.
The globally revered Cardio Vascular Surgeon, Dr Adeduntan urged Christians to imbibe the virtues of forgiveness, selflessness and perseverance learnt during the 40 days of fasting and prayers, which mark the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
