Edo: Don’t Jump Ship, Stay Loyal to Your Camp, or Stay Away—Oshiomhole Tells PDP Defectors After Guber Polls
Edo: You Bolt and After Election, You Want to Jump Camp, No Stay With Asue Ighodalo – Adams Oshiomhole
The Edo North Senator, Adams Oshiomhole, has issued a warning to individuals contemplating a defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that the era of playing both sides is over. He urged those considering this shift to remain loyal to the PDP and its candidate, Asue Ighodalo. Oshiomhole made these remarks while addressing a group and was featured in a widely circulated video.
He remarked, “You cannot support Asue Ighodalo and simultaneously expect to benefit from both sides; those days are behind us. Align yourself with your artificial intelligence, while we operate with authentic and organic intelligence to prevent being misled again. Your time is up.
If you decide to abandon ship, and then attempt to switch allegiance post-election, it is better to remain with him as we are not interested in individuals who straddle the fence.
According to Daily Post, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced that Monday Okpebholo of the APC emerged victorious in the recent gubernatorial election.
