Welcomes Foreign Teachers, Honours Shaikh Hadiyatullah, Appoints New Director.
Arabic Institute of Nigeria, Ibadan, Oyo-State has welcome foreign teachers, honoured Shaikh Abdur-Rasheed Hadiyatullah and appointed new director, Doctor Musa Alongbija reported.
Arabic institute of Nigeria Ibadan, founded in 1958 by Shaikh Murtadhah Abdus-Salam, has today, Sunday, January 9, welcomed two Egyptian teachers sent by Egyptian government to teach Arabic and Islamic education to Muslims in the institute. They are Shaykh Ahmad Abdul Baqi and Shaikh Ibrahim Abdulhameed.
The Arabic Institute also celebrated shaikh Abdur-Rasheed Hadiyatullahi, the newly appointed President of Nigeria Supreme Council for Sharia, by Nigerian government
The management of the Institute has also appointed new director for the institute. His name is Dr. Nasir Goke Abdus-Salam
- While speaking, Dr Abdus-Salam urged the President of Supreme Council for Sharia, Shaik Hadiyatullah, who is an alumnus of the Institute, to use the office to address the prevailing issues confronting the nation, Nigeria
In his own remarks, immediate past Director, Dr. Abdus-Salam Mosobalaje Abdus-Salam encouraged Shaikh Hadiyatullahand and announced new appointments made by the management of the institute.
The appointment goes thus,”New deputy director Shaykh mansor Abdus-Salam.
New Principal, Dr. Ahmad Olayiwola Abdus-salam
New Director of Finance, Dr. Ibrahim Abdus- Salam
Director of Quality and Training, Shaykh Muhyideen Abdus-Salam.
The newly appointed director, Dr. Nasir Goke Abdus-Salam lauded his successor in tittle and sought for the cooperation of entire staffers.”Indeed, I heartily commend the efforts of my predecessor in tittle, Dr. Abdus-Salam Mosobalaje Abdus-Salam. You’ve done wonderfully well and I promise to continue from where you pegged it. Also, I salute the entire staff of this great Institute and I humbly seek for your cooperation to take this our historical institute to higher level. Thank you all and congratulations to our erudite scholar and the newly appointed President of Nigeria Supreme Council for Sharia, shaikh Abdur-Rasheed Hadiyatullahi. Barkah Allah Fihi”,he stated.
Asiwaju Adini of Oyo-State, Alhaji Mutiu Oladejo Onimalu congratulated the new director and President of Nigeria Supreme Council for Sharia.
The closing prayer was said by Shaikh Tajudeen Aladabiy.
