Education: Kola Ajadi Puts Smiles on People’s Faces, Distributes Free ‘JAMB’ Forms to Indigent, Brilliant Students in Ibadan Northwest- Southwest Federal Constituency.
Former Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Political Affairs to late Gov. Abiola Ajimobi and Chairman Oke ‘badan LCDA , Mogaji Samuel Kola Ajadi has started distributing free ‘JAMB’ forms to the indigent but brilliant students in Ibadan Northwest- Southwest Federal Constituency through his Foundation.
Mogaji Samuel Kola Ajadi is the Founder of Samuel Kola Ajadi Foundation(SKAF), a Non- Governmental Organization that prioritises alleviating the sufferings of the masses through organising different impactful programmes such as:
- Digging of Wells
- Provision of Scholarships for less privileged students
- Donation of cash for widows as a source of empowering them
- Provision of Dialysis Machine
- Continuous monthly funding of different categories of people
- Donation of Exercise Books to public schools within the Federal Constituency
- Organising Educational symposia for our teeming youths and others.
The Chairman of the Foundation, Ajadi maintained that this year programme wil be channelled through the All Progressives Congress(APC) Party leadership in the Federal Constituency as a form of solidarity and medium of giving back to his immediate community.
Hon. Ajadi explained further that, “UNESCO recommendation for a better and quality education in Nigeria, 24.6% of our budget should be allocated to Educational sector which I think it’s not the sole responsibility of the Government, this should be our collective efforts. You must contribute yours and I must contribute mine and that is the philosophy.
SKAF revealed that the eligibility of the potential beneficiaries and stated that, “
- Targeted at Indigent and brilliant students in Ibadan Northwest and Southwest Federal Constituency, Ibadan, Oyo state.
- Fully sponsored JAMB forms with registration and CBT training for beneficiaries
- Applicant to posses minimum Educational Qualifications (to be advised).
The 2011 House of Representatives Aspirant, Ajadi believes in empowering youths through aiding quality education and sponsoring capacity building programmes.
