EDUCATION: Out Of Office, Hon Adebass Facilitates Another Technical University Scholarship for Akinyele’s Constituent(PHOTOS).
All Progressives Congress(APC) House of Assembly Aspirant for Akinyele Constituency II, Honourable (Dr) Adeyemo Abass popularly known as Adebass has facilitated another scholarship for a constituent of the electoral district, Muhammed -Awwal Olamide to study Biomedical Engineering at First Technical University, Ibadan, through ministry of local government and chieftaincy matters.
The tribal Aristocrat, Chief Adebass, who disclosed the gesture, said the scholarship programme, which has no political undertone, was a regular charity gesture under his Adebass Foundation(AF), which he founded 5 years ago.
Lamenting the plight of indigent students dropping out of school owing to their parents’ inability to pay their tuition fees, Hon. Adebass said it is high time the well to do citizens rise up to the occasion.
The influential politician, said,”Bearing my humble background in mind, every year, we assist students through scholarships and artisans through requisite tools and training empowerment. We are determined to do more and using the Adebass Foundation as a rallying point, to draft in other well-to-do Nigerians into the charity train.
Mr and Mrs Bulyamin Taiwo, the parents of the beneficiary, lauded Hon. Adebass for the kind gesture and prayed for his 2023 ambition to become a reality. They implored Akinyele constituents to support Hon Adebass, as he is going to be the best for the people.
While giving remarks, Adebass also stated that the request to assist the less privileged was the driving force in his aspiration, to contest for House of Assembly, Akinyele Constituency-II’s race, in 2023.
