EID-EL-FITR: Let’s Internalise Lessons of Ramadan – Oyo Guber Hopeful, Barr Agbaje Charges, Greets Muslim Faithful.
A leading Gubernatorial Aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in Oyo State, come 2023, Barrister Akeem Agbaje has congratulated Muslims in the State, and across the world, on the successful completion of 2022 Ramadan fasting and the consequent observance of Eid-El-Fitri festival, today.
The legal luminary, Barr Agbaje admonished the Muslims in the State to internalise the lessons learnt during the Holy Month of Ramadan, for achieving a better society.
“My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam! Let’s internalise the lessons learnt during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The lessons of love, sacrifice, charity, perseverance, faith and others”, he charged.
In his Eid-El-Fitri’s message, Barr Agbaje, also, urged good people of Oyo State to embrace the spirit of compassion, self discipline, kindness and tolerance as taught by the Holy Prophet Muhammed (SAW), irrespective of people’s religion, region or political leanings.

Barrister Akeem Agbaje, a legal luminary and illustrious son of Ibadan land, hailed from a family of many firsts; Late Dr. Anthony Saka Agbaje, the first medical doctor of Ibadan origin, Late Chief Abdul Mojeed Folarin Agbaje, the first lawyer of Ibadan Origin; and Late Hon. Justice Abdul Ganiyu Agbaje JSC, the first Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria of Ibadan origin.
Barr. Akeem is a progeny of the Legendary Agbaje Salami L’Ayeye. The Great Agbaje Salami was an earlier Ibadan billionaire, first generation Nigerian politician, influential statesman and notable philanthropist who had immensely contributed his own quota to the sociocultural, socioreligious and sociopolitical advancements and progress of Ibadan Land and its environs.
