Eid-el-Fitri: Senator Buhari Felicitates Muslims, Calls for Sustenance of Ramadan Teachings

Following the announcement of today, March 30, 2025, as Eid-el-Fitr, the senator representing the people of Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr Buhari Abdulfatai, has congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the 29-day holy fasting period.
In a release issued and made available to journalists yesterday evening, Senator Buhari thanked God for the lives of every Muslim in the district for the strength given to observe the fasting and other supplications throughout the holy month.
According to the lawmaker,”The teachings of the holy month of Ramadan included experiencing the sufferings of the downtrodden set of people with the objective of knowing how to take care of them to alleviate their state of poverty.
While identifying the act of giving to the needy as a vital lesson brought by the month to every Muslim, Senator Buhari admonished the wealthy individuals never to cease in their philanthropic gestures during the Ramadan, even after the holy month, to the less privileged or poor people.
While praying to God to accept all the activities of every Muslim throughout the holy month as acts of Ibadah, Senator Buhari prayed to God to answer the prayers of all the Muslims as a cardinal reward of their sincerity for worshipping Almighty Allah according to the teaching of Prophet Muhammad.
Buhari prayed for all Muslims to have resounding health so that several Ramadans can be witnessed and necessary supplications done for greater rewards not only on the surface of the earth but also in the hereafter.
