Eid El Kabir: Again, Taoreed Lawal Foundation Empowers Market Women in Ibadan.

No fewer than 1000 women have benefited from the “Market Women Intervention” program organized by “Taoreed Lawal Foundation” yesterday in Ibadan, Nigeria.

The program which was held on Saturday at Adelabu Market, Orita Challenge in Ibadan, Oyo state, was conducted to provide aid for women and youth, in order to support their businesses.

In a statement signed by the Founder which was made available to journalists, Mr Taoreed Lawal maintained that, “The empowerment was to support our mothers and sisters in these trying times. He also stated that the empowerment activity should be considered as imperative matter and economic responsibility of all and sundry, to alleviate poverty and realise sustainable development goals.

Some of the features of the program are provisions of parasols, foodstuffs, face masks, shirts, among other items. There was also a dialogue with the people on market health and hygiene tips by medical personnel.

While giving vote of thanks, the Chairman of the market lauded the Founder of the foundation and solicited for more engagements like such.
