Eid-el-Kabir: Barr Akeem Agbaje Greets Muslims, Preaches Love, Sacrifices on Sallah
Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Barrister Akeem Agbaje, has greeted Muslims on the occasion of the Eid El Kabir celebration. He said the season epitomised sacrifice.
“I want to congratulate my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters and the entire Muslim community in Oyo State on the occasion of another Eid-el-Adha celebration. Indeed, it is an auspicious celebration that comes with a call to us to commit ourselves to Almighty Allah in our worship, our trust in Him, and our commitment to the betterment of our society.
“Eid-el-Adha is also a celebration that transcends the Muslim community, and it is an opportunity to extend a hand of love and fellowship to everyone. In fact, it is an opportunity for everyone to gather and feast together regardless of religious affiliations.
The party chieftain urged Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of the season in their dealings with one another.
“I would want to urge Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of the season, which is sacrifice and total submission to Almighty Allah’s will. Let us all come together to work for the betterment of our nation. Let us drop our differences and unite in the spirit of brotherhood in this tasking journey of nation-building.
