Eid-el-Kabir: Let’s Be Optimistic About More Prosperous Years Ahead—Senator Yunus Akintunde Greets Fellow Muslims

The Distinguished Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Dr. Yunus Akintunde, has enjoined Nigerians and Muslims worldwide to rejoice and be thankful to Almighty Allah as they celebrate this year’s Eid El Kabir, while they should also be hopeful of more prosperous years ahead.

In a release made available to the media through Kunle Olatunji, the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Senator Akintunde, he expressed confidence that the years ahead will be more exciting and joyous after the pains of emerging years in the global community. “No doubt living is tough everywhere globally, and our country is not an exception; however, we all have reasons to appreciate Almighty Allah for his benevolence and blessings within the context of those global challenges.

“I am quite optimistic and prayerful that the years ahead will be more prosperous; this has been the focus of my supplications in Dua during this year’s pilgrimage while in the Holy Land in which I am privileged to participate.

“With our collective prayers and commitment to hard work, resilience, and love for humanity in all our endeavours and relationships with one another, Allah, in his benevolence, will continue to guide us and bless us at all times.

“I enjoin all Muslim Ummah to be dedicated to prayers and worship of Allah while emulating the Holy Prophets and the injunctions of the Holy Quran in obedience to show love and kindness to humanity at all times. That is the true spirit of this tenet of our faith.”

“The leadership of our country will not stop to desire and ensure the best living standards for the people.”

“I assure my constituents and associates to continue in my strides towards dedication to quality legislative functions and involvement in excellent governance towards the development of our nation, Nigeria.” Sen. Akintunde concluded.
