EID-EL-KABIR: Oyo APC Chair, Hon Omodewu Felicitates With Muslims, Fosters Unity Among Party Faithful

EID-EL-KABIR: Oyo APC Chair, Hon Omodewu Felicitates With Muslims, Fosters Unity Among Party Faithful.

Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in Oyo-State, Honourable Ajiboye Isaac Omodewu has felicitated with Muslims on the occasion of this year Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Ex-Aide to Gov. Abiola Ajimobi, Hon. Omodewu, while congratulating the faithful, urged Nigerians to reflect on the teachings of the festival which are obedience, perseverance, love, piety among others.“I urge all Muslim faithful to continue to foster love, peace and unity among each other”,he said.

In a Sallah message issued by Oyo APC Chairman and made available to the newsmen by His Media Aide, Mr Makinde Muhammed(MM), Hon. Omodewu said,”May God bless you and your dear ones with peace, prosperity and happiness on the auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.

He encouraged all Muslims to use this festive period to pray for the peace, progress and stability of Oyo-State and Nigeria, at large.

”Let’s all shun all acts that are capable of undermining the oneness, unity and progress of Nigeria. Let’s see ourselves as brothers and sisters that have common destiny as we are all members of human race”, Omodewu encouraged.

Hon. Omodewu used the occasion of the festival to foster unity and appeal to all members of APC in the state to join hands together and support the party in peace building process, to dislodge ruling People’s Democratic Party(PDP) away, come 2023.

He maintained that it’s only APC that can enthrone pro-people governance that the pacesetter state’s indigenes truly deserve, come 2023.

“More than ever before, we want everyone to be participating in the party’s affairs at all levels. If you don’t win election, you can’t form government. Overconfidence, misunderstanding and feud within the party, made us, APC lost in 2019. So, let’s mend the past and join hands together, to interact, strategise and work for the success of our great party, APC, and may God crown our efforts, come 2023.”He submitted.
