From all of us at Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi Foundation (RAAF), we want to congratulate the entire Muslim Ummah on the birthday of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W). We wish everyone happy Eid-El-Maulud and pray that this season usher in more blessings for everyone.
This year’s Maulud has come at a very appropriate time for us all to show love to one another and imbibe the virtues of perseverance and restraint as well as use it in praying for the peace we all clamour for. This is the best time to intensify prayers for our country!
This season should inspire us to renew our belief in the Almighty Allah and our beloved Nation even as we strive to live by the teachings of the Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W) among which is to show respect for one another, irrespective of social strata.
Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W) was a model of rectitude who preached and lived for peace and was revered for his honesty and perseverance. It is therefore important for us as a Nation and particularly as Muslims to always emulate and promote his virtues which include fairness, justice, honesty, love for others and peaceful co-existence.
