Ekiti Guber Poll: NCC Boss, Prof Akande Congratulates Oyebanji over Victory.
The Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande has congratulated Chief Biodun Oyebanji of the All Progressives Congress(APC) on his election as governor of Ekiti State at the election held on Saturday.
In a statement released in Abuja on Sunday, Prof. Akande stated that the victory at the election was well deserved and a confirmation of the faith the Nigerian electorates have belief in the APC, as their choice political party.
Prof. Akande noted that Chief Oyebanji was coming into government with an impeccable resume having served as Commissioner and Secretary in the government of Ekiti State.
He stated that Chief Oyebanji has been well schooled in the politics of the progressive hue and would have no difficulty delivering on the electoral promises made to the good people of Ekiti State.
Prof. Akande counseled Chief Oyebanji to see himself as an ambassador of the APC whose performance would rub off the party particularly in the build up to the 2023 general elections.
He prayed that the success of APC in Ekiti State would be repeated in Osun State when the electorates in the state head for the polls to elect a new governor in another few weeks.
