Eld-el-Kabir: Hon Shakirat Adetunji Greets Muslim Faithful

A Chieftainess of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Oyo State, Honourable Shakirat A. Adetunji, popularly known as ASHAD, has felicitated with Muslims in Oyo State and across the nation on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, which symbolises Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience, piety, and submission to the will of Al-Mighty Allah.

In a statement issued in Ibadan, Adetunji greeted the faithful and urged Nigerians not to relent in offering prayers for the nation during and after the festive period.

The Member of the House of Representatives Hopeful for Ibadan Northeast/Southeast Federal Constituency, come 2027, Hon. Adetunji assured Nigerians that the nation will rise again and actualize the hopes and aspirations of its founding fathers, despite the country’s current challenges.

“Happy Eid-El-Adha Celebration. May Almighty Allah accept it as an act of ibadah, grant us good health, bless us with abundant wealth, forgive our shortcomings, forgive our dead parents and Muslims, rebuild our country for the best to the benefit of the citizens, and grant good health to our parents that are still alive.

“Oh Allah, we beg you not to forsake us and our families. Yah Allah, make us witness more Eid-el-Adha alive in good health and abundant wealth…Eid Mubarak to us all.

“We should jointly pray for our nation. We must come together as one, irrespective of our ethnic and religious backgrounds,” she encouraged.

Hon. Shakirat Adebola Adetunji (ASHAD) is a female archetype, business tycoon, notable philanthropist, and progressive politician.

Adetunji has organised different developmental programmes in the federal constituency, and her intervention projects focus on youth empowerments, medical outreach, children’s support programmes, welfare programmes for the elders, and financial support for the widows, among others. The programmes have oftentimes brought smiles to the faces of people, especially the less privileged and the vulnerable in the state.
