Folarin, Akintunde, Buhari, Alli, others moved to tears as Omodewu Late Oyo APC Chairman Is Buried
In an emotion laden service held at First Baptist Church Otu, Otu, Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State, Honourable Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu has been finally buried.
Leading the pack of dignitaries at the event were Senator Teslim Folarin, Dr Yunus Akintunde, Dr Abdufatah Buhari, High Chief Sarafadeen Alli, all three serving Senators representing Oyo State at the Senate in the National Assembly.
The service of song and night of tributes had earlier held on Thursday after the body was recieved on arrival from United States where the deceased had died on August 18th 2024.
Senator Yunus Akintunde was also at Murtala Mohammed International Airport Ikeja with Senator Teslim Folarin, Senator Abdufatah Buhari, Eng. Idris Adeoye and other notable Party leaders of APC to receive the body of the deceased at the airport.
A few minutes last respect was observed to honour Late Hon. Omodewu at the APC Party Secretariat, Oke Ado Ibadan before the eventful service of songs, night of tributes and wake keep at Victoria Garden Event centre along Sango Polytechnic Road Ibadan preceding today’s burial service at First Baptist Church, Otu.
Among other dignitaries who also attended the event were Otunba Moses Alake Adeyemo, Eng Rauf Olaniyan both former Deputy Governors of Oyo State, Eng Remi Oseni, a member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Bimbo Kolade, Hon Toye Arulogun, Hon Wasiu Dauda Asusu,, Hon. Abass Aleshinloye former Oyo ALGON Chairman.
The body of Hon. Isaac Omodewu has been interned at his family compound in Otu marking the end of the burial arrangements for the late APC Chairman.
