End SARS : Olu Akintola Supports Youth Agitation Against Police Brutality, Injustice …. Campaigns Against Violence , Killings .

Member House of Representatives from Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency, Hon. George Oluokun Akintola has declared his supports for ongoing agitation of Youth staged against police brutality and other acts of injustice in Nigeria. Akintola reiterated freedom of expression as guaranteed by Nigeria 1999 constitution as amended and he campaigned against any form of violence from youth while exercising their fundamental human rights of free of expression and peaceful assembly

” According to Section 39, 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; Every person shall be entitled to freedom of expression, including freedom to hold opinion and to receive and impact ideas and information without interference. Sincerely, I support the youth for the agitation for ending SARS and other acts of injustice in different sectors in Nigeria”, Olu Akintola declared .

” But through violence, youth can’t achieve their target except through peaceful protest. Let there be a representative leadership to the government to speak on behalf of others, submit memorandum and let the Federal Government look into it and come out with positive decision because we can’t continue to live in fear”, Akintola appealed.

” My good people of Akinyele Local Government, please, let’s vacate the roads, stop road closed. Please, don’t join hoodlums to protest. Lives lost can never be replaced as it was recently a bloody day in Ojoo Area. Some protesters have ulterior motives and capitalized on the opportunity of the protests to carry out their evil intention leading to sordid activities of bandits/hardened criminal carrying out coordinated attacks on innocent citizens and sending them to early grave”, Akintola said .

” Enough is enough !!!! Kudos to the GOC, Ojoo Barracks for rescuing the situation”, Hon. George Oluokun Akintola said.
