End SARS Struggles : Oyo APC Chieftain, Oladiran Alabi Lauds Youth , Advises Being Vigilant of Unscrupulous Elements, Hijackers .
A chieftain of All Progressives Congress(APC) in Oyo State and former chairmanship aspirant of Ibadan Southwest Local Government , Hon. Oladiran Alabi has lauded Nigerians, especially, youth for their courage and tenacity to initiate and sustain struggles against police brutality. He also advised the protesters to be careful of unscrupulous elements and hijackers that might want to take advantage of them for their own selfish and hidden agenda.
“I laud Nigerian Youths on the recent protest which has led to disbandment of the dreaded SARS outfit”, Alabi stated .
“I hereby commend the youths for the success and I also advise them to be vigilant and make an attempt to end the protests now having achieved its set objectives so as not to be hijacked by unscrupulous elements in the society who might have hidden agenda to truncate our nascent democracy. Meanwhile, since their voices have been heard and that government has responded positively to their agitation”, Hon. Oladiran Alabi maintained .
Hon. Alabi enjoined the youths now to coordinate same efforts and similar energy cum networking to begin enlightenment programme on the issues of vote buying and money politics which have become bane of attaining perfection of democratization and ideal society in Nigeria .
