Agbaje Honoured At Engineers’ Conference, Calls for Innovations in Engineering Projects

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Barrister Akeem Agbaje, has stressed the need for integrating modern technological approaches and innovative practices into engineering projects in Nigeria.
This, he said, are not just desirable but also essential in addressing the pressing infrastructure challenges in the country and fostering sustainable development.
Agbaje stated this while delivering a keynote address at the 3rd Annual Conference of Engineers, held at Ibarapa Polytechnic, Eruwa.
The occasion, which brought together professionals and stakeholders in the engineering sector, served as a platform for exchanging ideas on how to propel the industry to greater heights.
Agbaje, who was honoured at the occasion with a Distinguished Award by the engineers, in recognition of his monumental contributions and support to the profession, said the crucial role of innovation in engineering can not be over-emphasised.
According to him, the future of Nigeria hinges on the ability of those in the engineering sector to innovate and apply engineering solutions to the needs of the country’s growing population.
Agbaje stated that engineering-driven projects have the potential to transform the Oyo State economy, improve its infrastructure and enhance the quality of lives of the residents.
