Today, as we remember and celebrate the life of my father, Prince Yissau Olatunji Ajani Afọdunrinbi Apọ́nmádẹ̀, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude for the man he was. He was the best dad anyone could ever ask for—loving, caring, and highly responsible. His unwavering support and guidance shaped me into the person I am today.
Dad, you were not just a father; you were my mentor, my hero, and my greatest inspiration. You taught me the values of kindness and integrity, and I strive every day to become the man you envisioned me to be. Your legacy of love and strength lives on in my heart.
“Ọmọ Aládé”, you showed us the meaning of resilience.
“Ọmọ arìnlèjì*, your wisdom guided us through life’s challenges.
“Ọmọ kẹ́ngú ngboro”, your laughter brought joy to our lives.
“Ọmọ òtoogùn bọ, fi ẹrú tọrọ”, you reminded us of the importance of humility and hard work.
Though you may no longer be with us in body, your spirit continues to inspire me. Thank you for everything, Dad. I miss you more than words can express, but I carry your love with me always.
Rest in peace, knowing that your legacy will never fade.
