Ex-ALGON Chair, Aleshinloye Condoles with Senator Buhari over Mother’s Death

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and the immediate past ALGON Chairman in Oyo State, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye MDII, has extended heartfelt condolences to the senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Senator Fatai Buhari, and members of his family over the demise of his mother, Alhaja Sarat Buhari.

In a statement personally signed by him and made available to the journalists through his media office, Prince Aleshinloye joined the Senator and the entire Buhari family in mourning Alhaja Buhari, whose modest, cheerful giver and compassionate disposition and lifestyle would remain a source of inspiration for her offspring and all who knew her.

Abass-Aleshinloye, who also described the deceased as “a quintessential mother, pillar of support to her son, devout Muslim, and community leader who devoted her lifetime to the service of God and humanity.’’, said he received the news with disbelief and shock.

“As mortals, we never want our elderly ones to die, but the Holy Books say that all souls must taste death. So, we have to submit to the supreme will of the Almighty, from whom we came and unto whom we shall all return,” he said.

He prayed that Mama’s soul would rest in perfect peace and that God grant the Buhari family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
