“The full of energy with robust Intellectual discourse engagement, Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Oyo State, Mr Azeez Fatai Adesokan popularly known as ‘Sai Rahma’ has declined the offer to serve as State ‘ORGANISING SECRETARY of Oyo APC’, that was included few days back in Abuja.

The Saki born Political Analyst and Social Commentator in a telephone conversation with our reporter, appreciated and lauded his benefactor and facilitator, Chief Niyi Akintola SAN. Sai Rahman pleaded for his name to be stepped down for strong political convictions and personal reasons.

Adesokan, who is famous for detailed analysis and good sense of political history with dates and names accurately in his articles and radio stations analysis, refused to further detailed our correspondent, as he cited personal reasons for his decision.

Back and forth State congress of APC in Oyo State took dramatic turn on Thursday, February 3 as National Secretariat that, hitherto denied having sent Alhaji Gambo Lawan led Committee would later issued letter to Mr Issac Ajiboye Omodewu as against name of Alhaji Abu Gbadamosi submitted by Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State that, was asked by the same National Secretariat of APC to harmonised list of the state congress.

Omodewu was said to have called for meeting at his private residence on Sunday noon but, some of the exco’s declined to honour his invitation as they cited ,they were not yet inaugurated in the state at party Secretariat in Oke Ado , Ibadan, and not privy to authentic list from Abuja.

Omodewu is allegedly slated today, Monday for swearing-in of Chairmen of contentious LG congresses of his political tendency, the Senator Teslim Folarin Campaign Organization.

Tendencies in Oyo State APC are all struggling for the soul of the party ahead of 2023 elections.

Many party members are disturbed that the party Internal imbroglio at this crucial political period has negative impact ahead of 2023 General elections.
