Fatai Buhari Grieves Over Chief Imam Ashafa’s Death, Describes It As Colossal Loss to Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

The Senator representing Oyo North District in the National Assembly(NASS), Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai has described the death of Chief Imam of Ogbomosoland, Sheikh Alamal Yekeen Ashafa Adegboyega Sanusi as a colosal loss to Muslim Community, not only in Ogbomoso land but also, in Oyo State, at large.

Dr. Buhari stated this in his condolence message to the family of the late erudite Islamic Scholar, Ashafa, and generality of Muslim Community in Ogbomosoland, which a copy of it was obtained by Africano Trumpeters Newspaper.

The federal Lawmaker, Buhari lamented that the news of Sheikh Sanusi’s demise was a rude shock to him. “This is a rude shock to me but there’s nothing we can do to avert it. Meanwhile, the joy of it is that our late chief Imam died as a pious believer who committed his entire life to worshipping of his Lord, Allah.

Senator Buhari stated that the late Chief Imam was a father and guardian whose conducts showed that Islam is a religion of peace and unity.

Buhari prayed that may Allah grant Sheikh Sanusi eternal rest, forgive all his shortcomings and reward all his deeds with Aljannat Firdaous on the day of judgement.

The Influential Legislator, Buhari also prayed for the family and generality of people of people of Ogbomosoland.”May Allah grant the family and all of us fortitude to bear this irreparable loss”, he prayed.

This Newspaper, Africano Trumpeters recalled that the Late Sheikh Sanusi became the Chief Imam of Ogbomosoland in 2002.

Sheikh Sanusi died today, October 7, 2021 and may God Almighty Allah repose his soul in Aljannat Firdaous.
