FLASHBACK: Soji Akanbi Donates ICT Equipment to Oyo State Pensioners’ House (PHOTOS).

Barely two years after Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi facilitated fully equipped Information Communication Technology (ICT) to Oyo State chapter of Nigerian Union of Pensioners(NUP), the centre is still functioning and living up to expectations.

During the commissioning and handing over of the project to the NUP office located at Agbarigo, Ibadan, Sen. Akanbi assured pensioners in the state that he would continue to do everything possible within his reach to uplift the association.

The State Secretary of NUP, Comrade Olusegun Abatan thanked Okanlomo of Ibadanland for paying tribute to late founding and pioneer Secretary of the Pensioners Union, Pa Israel Oyerinde. He commended Senator Akanbi for his philanthropic gesture and a genuine love for pensioners in the State.

At the well attended event by other pensioners across the states, the National President of the Nigerian Union of Pensioners(NUP), Dr. Abel Afolayan extolled the virtue of Senator Akanbi as a humble politician worthy of emulation for others who want genuine development for retirees in Nigeria.
