Folarin, Buhari, Akintunde, Aleshinloye, Adeyemo, Others in Attendance As Remains of Late APC Chairman, Hon Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, Arrive in Lagos

The remains of the late All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in Oyo State, Hon. Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, arrived at Murtala International Airport, Lagos, on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 10:30 am. A high-powered delegation of APC members from Oyo State, led by Senators Fatai Buhari, Dr. Yunus Akintunde, and Oloye Teslim Folarin, received the remains.
The delegation included other prominent APC members, such as Dr. Isiaka Kolawole, Dr. Abogun, Hon. Akogun, Hon. Opaleye, Hon. Abass Aleshinloye, Hon. Shina Alabi, and House of Representatives hopeful, Hon. Monsuru Akintunde Adeyemo (Socrates). State executives were also present to pay their respects to the late chairman.
Senator Teslim Folarin, a key figure in the reception, was joined by fellow senators and party leaders to bid farewell to the late chairman, whose remains were flown in from the United States.
The arrival of the remains marks the beginning of the final journey of the late APC Chairman, who will be laid to rest in his home state. The APC has announced a series of burial ceremonies to honour the life and legacy of Hon. Omodewu, who played a significant role in the party’s growth and development in Oyo State.
