Former Ajumose Youth, Student Leaders Congratulate Chief Florence Ajimobi over Ambassadorial Nomination
Former leaders and stakeholders of the Ajumose Marines Youth and students wing, now known as the Oyo Progressive and Developmental Movement (OPDM), have congratulated the former First Lady of the state, Chief (Dr) Florence Ajimobi, over Her Excellency’s ambassadorial nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a congratulatory message which was jointly signed by the acting coordinator of the umbrella body of youth and students during the administration of the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Comrade Alli Egbesola (Neonate), and the secretary, Comrade Basheer Aderinto (S.A. Spiritual), and made available to the press in Ibadan today by the group’s publicity secretary, Olapeju Lawal (PJ), the group described Dr Ajimobi’s nomination as a historic recognition and blessing to the Nigerian nation, both in the international community and back home in Nigeria.

You have remained a heroine to many, a philosopher queen of great value, courage and carriage, and grace and gallantry. Even after the passing of the great patriarch and your beloved husband, the late Gov. Abiola Ajimobi, you have continued to stand as a strong pillar—upholding his legacy while charting your own impactful path and meritoriously serving humanity.
Ma, may this new chapter bring you greater influence, fulfilment, and opportunities to touch even more lives.
