Former Oyo Head of Service, Chief Olawumi Ogunesan, Mourns Late APC State Chairman, Barr Isaac Omodewu

Chief (Mrs.) Olawumi Ogunesan, a former Head of Service in Oyo State and a prominent chieftainess of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has expressed her heartfelt sympathy to the Oyo State APC, family, friends, and loved ones of the late Barr Isaac Omodewu, the State Party Chairman who passed away recently.

In a statement released on Monday, Chief Ogunesan described the deceased’s demise as a “monumental loss” to the APC family in the state, praising him as a “pure progressive man, a political juggernaut, and a man of virtue.”

Nostalgically, Ogunesan recalled working with Omodewu under the leadership of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, and highlighted his exceptional intelligence and contributions to the party.

Chief Ogunesan extended her condolences to the family, children, wife, and friends of the deceased, praying to Almighty God to grant them the fortitude to bear the great loss.

Chief Ogunesan’s statement reads in part:”I am deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved State Party Chairman, Barr Isaac Omodewu. He was a true progressive and a man of great virtue. His demise is a monumental loss to our party and the entire state. I pray that God grants us all the strength to bear this irreparable loss.”
