The Chairman of the Oyo State All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), Engr. Olumide Ayinla, has expressed deep appreciation to the Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, for his continued commitment towards liberating the masses—especially farmers across Oyo State—through the Bayo Adelabu Foundation’s historic Mega Empowerment & Economic Support Programme for 2025.

He confirmed that all beneficiaries of the empowerment scheme have successfully received their financial support as promised — once again proving that Adelabu is a leader whose words carry action. According to him, this is not surprising to genuine farmers in Oyo State because Adelabu has maintained a consistent record of practical support for agricultural growth.

Engr Ayinla recalled that only a few months ago, Adelabu donated truckloads of fertilisers to farmers across the state — a gesture which boosted farm productivity, reduced financial burden, and motivated more active crop cultivation. This latest empowerment, he said, is simply a continuation of that same spirit of sincere, impactful assistance — not politics, not propaganda — but direct intervention that touches lives.

He further stated that for years now, Chief Adelabu has proven that he understands the heartbeat of the grassroots, particularly farmers, and has never stopped supporting the agricultural value chain with real resources, not empty speeches. The Bayo Adelabu Foundation, he added, is rewriting the story of sustainable empowerment in Oyo State.

Engr. Ayinla concluded with prayers that Chief Adebayo Adelabu will arrive at his destined political height without any hindrance — because a leader who uplifts the people deserves to rise. He prayed that God will continue to strengthen him to do more for humanity, the farming community, and the future of Oyo State.
